실패에 관한 교훈 

 

 

 

주님, 실패를 통해 무언가를 나에게 알려 주시려고요?

실패란 나를 실패자로 만들어 버리기 보다는,

나는 아직 성공하지 못한 사람이다 라는 의미지요.

실패란 아무것도 이룬 것이 없다 라기 보다는,

너를 통해 무언가 한수를 배웠구나 하는 뜻이지요.

실패란 내가 바보짓거리를 했구나 보다는,

실험에 대해 어느 정도는 자신을 가졌다는 의미지요

실패란 망신 당 했구나 라기 보다는,

거참 대담한 시도를 했구나 란 의미를 가지지요

실패란 별 수가 없는 것이 아니라,

또 다른 방법으로 다시해볼 거리가 있다는 의미지요

실패란 내가 열등하다기 보다는,

내가 완벽하지 않다는 의미지요

실패란 내 시간을 낭비한 것이 아니라,

실례를 무릅쓰고 다시 시작하라는 변명을 주는 것이지요

실패 했기에 반드시 포기해야 한다는 것 보다는,

더욱더 열심히 해야 한다는 의미지요

실패는 두 번 다시 있어서는 안 될 것이 라기 보다는,

내게 더욱 더 많은 훈련이 필요하다는 의미지요

실패는 나를 몹쓸 사람으로 만드는 것이 아니라,

틀림없이 내게 더 좋은 아이디어 있을 텐데 라는 가르침이지요.

Failure does not mean I'm a failure;

It does mean I have not yet succeeded.

Failure does not mean I have accomplished nothing;

It does mean I have learned something.

Failure does not mean I have been a fool;

It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.

Failure does not mean I have disgraced;

It does mean I have dared to try.

Failure does not mean I don't have it;

It does mean I have something to do in a different way.

Failure does not mean I am inferior;

It does mean I am not perfect.

Failure does not mean I have wasted my life;

It does mean that I have an excuse to start over.

Failure does not mean that I should give up;

It does mean that I should try harder.

Failure does not mean that I will never make it;

It does mean that I need more practice.

Failure does not mean that you have abandoned me;

It does mean that you must have a better idea
